We had an appointment today with vet #3 who vet #2 referred us to as he's a dog knee surgery expert.

He was excellent - drew diagrams, explained all the options and emailed detailed costings.

Will be at least $1500 cheaper than not very communicative vet #1, so we're going ahead, probably in two weeks

Here is my Piper Riley. I rescued her back in August. The vet at the shelter estimated her to be about 9mos so I’m going to say she’s about to turn a year old in a couple of weeks. She’s a sweetheart but very hyper! 🥰
