75/100 #the100dayproject Three-quarters of the way through the project! I’m on holiday in Galena, IL, USA, an area that was not affected by glaciers in the last ice age. It’s the hilliest part of Illinois that is usually very flat (also due to the last ice age). This landscape is from one of the “scenic lookouts” driving into town.

I'm in far northeast Iowa this weekend, near Harper's Ferry, IA. The Mississippi River flooding doesn't look bad to the uneducated eye, but you can see these small towns in WI, MN, and IA doing lots of work. Dump trucks full of sand and gravel are ever-present. #driftlessarea #flooding #spring
