I recently had to complete an online PAI (Personality Assessment Inventory) for an upcoming neuropsych evaluation. In it, you have to indicate how true/false statements are for you.
One of the statements I had to rate was "My drinking does not impact my relationship with friends and family." I had to mark True on that. I'm sure someone is gleefully rubbing their hands saying "ah, he is inconsistent!" based on other questions related to drinking and drug usage.
But the truth is, I don't drink at all, and there's no way to indicate that. So of course, my drinking does not affect my relationships... because it doesn't exist. 😉
