That #KimPetras album, #FeedTheBeast, ain't soooo bad, y'all.
It's fun, shamelessly pop, and it contains actually only a handful of #DrLuke productions, which generally end up to be the least interesting songs on the album. Songs to play instead: Claws, Uhoh, Brrr, King of Hearts and last but not least, Unholy.
Kim even got a 5-page profile in the #NewYorker, which explains how around 2015 she got a contract with Dr. Luke's company, Amigo Records, an imprint within Republic (which was already part of #Universal Music), but the current "move to a major label" for Feed the Beast seems to free her. I hope all the release problems are now over, because "Problematique" last year was... problematic. And I still wish that Universal puts Kim's previous era's on CD, like they eventually did with #DojaCat.
Singer #Kesha and producer #DrLuke have settled their 10-year old lawsuit. They both want to move on with their life.
I happen to love a lot of music that both of them made, including all Kim Petras songs produced since 2017 by Dr. Luke (Petras did hardly anything without him, unfortunately). While I still do not trust Dr. Luke, I hope he has learned from this as a person.
