@nyhan Thanks for taking a closer look than I was willing to. I was repelled on face value (my kneejerk "I'm being sold" reaction, plus recognizing some medical advisor names from the for-profit CME circuit -- including Spencer Dorn, who wrote that Forbes article, which wasn't bad in itself).
I expect #OpenEvidence to be heavily gamed by journal mills, burying reliable evidence in slop. I expect it to further degrade clinician critical-thinking skills (already under heavy workplace pressure).
Not that #UpToDate and #DynaMed are free from controversy (https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2793867). But after OpenEvidence drives Wolters-Kluwer, EBSCO, and the Cochrane Library out of business, what will be left?
