The coolest CMS (#eecms) just got cooler with the release of CoilPack 2.0, which brings full support for #laravel 11 and a large pile of improvements.

Coilpack is a composer package that allows EE to run as a backend to a Laravel site. With it you can use Twig templating and integrate other Laravel apps while relying on EE to be the content and member-handling aspect of your site.

Nice to see @brandon and #CraftCMS folk on Mastodon. Now if we could get more top level #Laravel folk on to Mastodon. Brandon, we only chatted once or twice via email back in the #EECMS days before #pixelandtonic if that is possible.

@Chris @DavidDarnes We used to use Drupal years ago but #ExpressionEngine has everything we want and more and it’s easier to use to boot. The new 7.5 Code Generators will even make templating absolutely trivial.

Not saying Drupal is bad, but #eecms doesn’t get the respect and attention it’s due. Since v5 it’s been rebuilt from the ground up so it’s also really modern. Worth checking out..

Started to migrated my own site from CraftCMS to EEv7. Took about 3 hours to get it mostly complete. Last steps are to import all the entries to their correct channel, and migrate one small plugin/addon. Most likely will do with a small PHP script. Not a complicated site.

I used to be an #EECMS Dev for quite a few years from p-machine to EE v3+. Really great to see the growth in the platform recently, but where do all the devs hang out now?

At this year's ExpressionEngine Conference in Orlando, I spoke about how Hop Studios uses AI in its processes. We lean heavily into ChatGPT's functionalities, less into image generation tools, and we use it for various assistance from planning to categorizing to improving clarity and accuracy.
