Side view of a white and grey, twin propellor-engined airliner taxiing from left to right.
The plane has white upper surfaces and grey lower surfaces, with a pale blue stripe running along the body, and black "Cranfield" titles on the upper rear fuselage.
There is a diagonal orange stripe on the tail, with the black registration "G-AXUI" passing through the base.
The wing-mounted engine pods are dark blue, almost purple.
Green grass fills the foreground. With more grass in the background leading up to trees in the distance, with tree-covered rolling hills beyond that.
Grey sky fills the rest of the frame.

Somewhat grainy side view of a 4 propellor-engined cargo plane parked on a grey taxiway facing to the left.
The plane is mostly white, with a green and black stripe running along the body, with green "Atlantic Cargo" titles on the upper fuselage, over the wings, and the black registration "G-LOFA".
The tail has a pair of green and black stripes at the top, with a large, black and white image of a stooping falcon over green "Atlantic" titles at the bottom.
Large areas of green grass divided by taxiways fill the foreground, with more grass leading up to trees in the distance, under grey sky.

Side view of a small, white, twin propellor-engined airliner taxiing from right to left along a grey runway.
The plane is pretty much devoid of markings, apart from the black registration "G-BUFL" on the rear fuselage.
Green grass lines the sides of the runway in the foreground, with more grass in the background leading up to trees in the distance.
A red fire engine is on the right in the background, parked on the grass, with a white ambulance next to it partly hidden behind the plane.

Side view of a single engined, 2 seat military fighter jet taxiing from left to right along a dark grey runway.
The plane is covered in a dark grey and dark green camouflage pattern, with a dark blue and red rounded barely visible behind the wings on the rear fuselage, and a blue and red fin flash on the tail.
The engine intakes, buried in the wing root, are a creamy yellow.
A dark green fuel tank is mounted under each wing.
Green grass fills the foreground, lining the sides of the runway, with more grass in the background leading up to a large grey building on the right of the frame, and trees everywhere else, under grey sky.

One of the most bizarre display teams I've ever seen
F-GDPX, Max Holste MH.1521C-1 Broussard and Colomban MC-15 Cri-Cri in the colours of their sponsor, Brittany Ferries.
What was so bizarre about these?
The, erm, "formation" take off.
See that metal frame sticking out in front of the wing of the bigger plane, just in front of the cockpit windows?
That was to support the nose wheel of the smaller plane on take off.
The Cri-Cri was mounted on top of the much larger Broussard, only separating from the mother ship part way through the display.
An interesting note - the Cri-Cri is (or at least, was) the worlds smallest twin-engined plane, powered by chain-saw engines!

A pair of aircraft flying from left to right at a low altitude, one flying more or less straight and level, the other pitching up, both trailing smoke to make them easier to see.
The lower plane is the larger, a high-winged, single propellor-engined plane, with a tail wheel and twin tails on the ends of the horizontal stabilisers.
The plane is mostly white, with a thick red stripe at the bottom of the fuselage, red stripes at the top and bottom of the twin tails, and on the wing tips.
There are dark blue "Brittany Ferries" titles on the side of the rear fuselage, and the black registration "F-GDPX" on the outer face of the tails.
Smoke trails out of the engine exhaust, at the bottom of the forward fuselage.
The upper plane is all white, with a red stripe along the bottom of the fuselage, a red and white waving flag on the tail, red wingtips, and very small red engines on stub wings at the tip of the nose.
Dark blue Brittany Ferries" titles can be seen on the side of the fuselage, partially obscured by the wing, as well as on the undersides of the wings., with the black registration "F-PZTU" on the side of the rear fuselage.
Smoke trails from a canister under each wing.
Flat grey sky fills the rest of the image.

Side view of a high-winged, 4 engined jet airliner parked on a grey concrete taxiway, facing to the right.
The plane is mostly in a rather patchy, yellowy-green primer, with a white tail that has a small red patch where the front of the horizontal stabiliser meets the top of the tail.
There is a red and blue arrowhead logo on the upper forward fuselage, just aft of the forward cabin door, and the black registration "G-ISEE" on the lower rear fuselage, the last letter partially obscured by one of the engines hanging below the wing.
Green grass fills most of the foreground, with another taxiway visible
through the grass.
A large grey building is visible in the background on the left of the frame, with trees stretching across the background beyond that,
Hazy grey sky fills the rest of the frame.

Manchester Monday 24th November 2025.

C-8, Fokker F-27-300M Troopship, KLU Royal Netherlands Air Force, performing an astonishing display routine, quite possibly with at least one engine shut down, at one of the annual Woodford Air Shows, some time in the mid 1990s.
There is even some blue sky for once!

Rather dramatic, if somewhat grainy, side view of a high-winged, twin propellor-engined military transport aircraft flying from right to left, and heavily banked to the it's left, showing off the top of the wings and fuselage.
The plane is mostly white, with a red and blue stripe running along the body, and a diagonal red and blue stripe across each wing, just outboard of the engines.
Smoke is trailing from behind the engine pods, contrasting with the blue sky that fills the background.

Side view of a twin propellor-engined airliner parked on concrete facing to the right.
The plane is mostly white, with large, dark blue, billboard-style "THT" titles on the forward fuselage, just aft of a large Turkish flag just behind the cockpit windows.
The tail is the same dark blue, with a white circle, which itself has a stylised blue flying bird in the middle.
Temporary metal fencing surrounds the plane, with buildings in the distance visible under the planes body, and very pale blue sky filling the rest of the frame.

Side view of a high-winged, 4 engined jet airliner taxiing from right to left.
The plane is largely white, with a series of red stripes on the nose and forward fuselage, with more red stripes under the tail, and a dark blue belly, as well as a matt black patch on top of the forward fuselage, between the cockpit and the wing..
Then blue tail has diagonal , white "RJ100"titles .
The black registration "G-OIII" is on the lower rear fuselage.
The blue engine pods slung under the wing have red and white stripes at the bottom, and the text "LF507" on the outer pods.
Green grass lines a taxiway in the foreground, with more grass in the background leading up to a grey building in the background on the left, while trees give way to fields creeping up the side of a hill across the rest of the frame, under flat grey sky.
