First photo-- a single earring and a pendant drying after receiving a clear coat to protect the copper.

Second photo-- Earrings from beach glass and a few pendants drying with a coat of paint. The pendants needed some touchups after I cleaned up the copper. The earrings are all receiving a first coat so the copper in the bath will adhere to them.

3) First ring experiment. The stone was meh, so I wrapped it with wire, gave that a coat of conductive paint and learned a lot.

A pink cord has 5 hooks hanging on it. The first hook on the left holds a copper covered brown stone (petrified wood) about 1.5 inches long. The next hook is empty. A 2 inch piece of glass with copper wound around the top. A very thin piece of glass with only a slight bit of copper at the top. Final hook contains a canine tooth shaped piece of petrified wood with a copper top.

Things were getting crunchy. So I gave the bath, a bath.

When I started #electroforming again, I had to replace my anode, the piece of copper donating the metal.

It started out as a copper pipe pounded flat. The section on the left is the portion that was above the solution with the wire attached. On the right is what is left after making several pieces.

Covered these potential earrings with some latex. This will protect the rocks from the copper bath.

Beach glass pendant. I am still figuring out #electroforming with copper. I think many people in the craft enjoy the raw look because it is difficult to grind out the unwanted bits. 😅

Maybe that is my excuse because I am working with such small pieces.

Taking longer than expected. It has been in over 24hrs. I guess I should check my math. OR I bet my copper anode (water line from Home Depot) isn't 100% copper.

Finally got the #electroforming bath and gear setup. Going to run a few tests before I start doing the rocks.
