Unser Stand in der Aula Carolina bietet wieder die Gelegenheit, sowohl die Fairphone Community Aachen als auch die aktuellen Fairphone-Produkte kennenzulernen. Während Fairphone 2023 sein zehnjähriges Bestehen feiert, sind wir in Aachen als Netzwerk von Fairphoner*innen bald acht Jahre aktiv.

Neben dem Fairphone 4 und dem ein oder anderen Zubehör zeigen wir in diesem Jahr auch erstmals Fairphones reparierbare Kopfhörer: Die FAIRBUDS XL stehen am Stand zum Anhören bereit – sowohl drahtlos als auch mit analogem oder Datenkabel. Und auch ihre Zerlegung (siehe Bild 😉) könnt Ihr live mitverfolgen.

BESUCHT UNS AM 19. AUGUST! 🙂

❗P.S.: Für den 19. SUCHEN wir noch eine STELLWAND, um darauf ein paar Fotos, kleine Flyer und Blätter (DIN A4 oder A3) für die Dauer der Messe anbringen. Falls Ihr uns etwas Geeignetes leihen könntet, wären wir für eine entsprechende Rückmeldung dankbar 🙂

Our Aula Carolina booth allows you once again to get to know the Fairphone Community Aachen as well as current Fairphone products. While Fairphone celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2023, we are organizing a volunteer network of Aachen Fairphoners for almost eight years.

In addition to the Fairphone 4 and some accessories, we will also show – for the first time – Fairphone’s repairable headphones this year: The FAIRBUDS XL are ready to be tried out at our booth – wirelessly as well as via analogue or digital cable. And you can also witness live their disassembly (see photo 😉).

GO LOCAL! Fairphone communities & Angels

:FPA: While Fairphone Community @aachen recently followed us in moving its Mastodon home to the new instance social.fairphone.community, there’s a couple of other local Fairphone communities that regularly organize MEETUPS and other EVENTS as well – have a look at events.fairphone.community. Currently the most active communities are Munich, Aachen, Vienna, Grenoble, Hamburg and the Rhein-Ruhr area. If there’s none in your area yet, look into our addressbook.fairphone.communit to join others in your area for a start or create your own call for a new local Fairphone community in the forum :FPA:

New instance, new #introduction 😀

This account is all about the community around Fairphone. 📱
So expect posts about community meetups 🗓️, Fairphone Angels 👼, pointers to our fairphone.community forum 🌐 and the occasional update on custom ROMs 🛠️.
We might also boost selected posts asking for help/sharing individual experiences with Fairphones.

Currently the account is run by Ingo /i and Urs /u as you can see in our bio along with the hint that we’re not representing the company Fairphone.

On the fediverse since 29.04.2018, our old instance went poof two days before we could migrate to our new home provided by @paula and the Fediverse Foundation (many thanks for that 👏).

So here we are again!
