This is one of my favoutire things I've ever written. I love italian #Giallo films, so I wrote my own twisted sordid murder mystery story as a sort of bouncy, #folk rock pop song! Although there's a bit of #garage type crunch in the chorus!
(also unlike it's inspiration, it takes place entirely from the killer's perspective. I hope any Giallo purists can forgive me!)
Fun fact, I actually recorded it for #fedivision2024 earlier this year!

That’s Life is a pop-rock ballad telling the story of a life in a song (plus a joke or two). It was my #fedivision2024 entry.
Test-Tube Baby is a comedic folkabilly romp through the trials and tribulations of having been conceived without sex.
I had an interesting exchange with a fan of my music today.
They missed me in #fedivision2024 and asked if I had participated at all. The answer is of course yes, I participated, with "Mare" which made 7th place.
They hadn't heard of it.
This somehow confirms my theory that #fedivision has become far too big.
In previous years, it was small enough for musicians to reach an audience with their #music alone.
But with over 70 entries, that's no longer the case, and one has to

But then something happened in late April…
I think I have a funny idea for what I'm gonna submit for #Fedivision2025 — a more surreal sequel of my #Fedivision2024 entry "Webpunks" that continues where it left off after it was interrupted by a "sound paywall" of SuperUltraProMiumGold+ to continue listening.
Not a lot of plans yet (or even if I'll go with that idea), but it'll have even more references to our enshittified internet I didn't cover in the original Webpunks:
