The third job has been unlocked. And from the Fire Crystal, we get... Bard! (After going through the Library and Crescent.)
This is gearing up to be my nightmare scenario. Berserker can only attack (and always attacks). Blue Mage forces me to constantly check if an ability is in the area, then coax it out of them (and hoping my Berserker doesnt kill them). Now with the Bard I have to search for hidden abilities.
Both Blue Mage and Bard both feel like oddball jobs that require creativity.
Also, I had to use breakable staffs to stomp 3 different enemies that were otherwise stomping me. (Liquid Flame, Ifrit, and Byblos)

Finished the game! Mix ended up being a huge help in the last portion. Especially against Neo Exdeath.
Twintania was getting really annoying until I found out how vulnerable he is when charging Gigaflare.

I just got the fourth tablet! I wasn't expecting the forked towers to be so easy this time around. The Great Sea Trench was annoying. I restarted with more Phoenix Downs for insta-kills and Flame Rings for the lava. Then, I found out Flame Rings don't protect you from lava. Triton, Nereid, and Phobos were easier than I remember from before, too.

It's been three years since my last run, but I'm back on my #FF5FJF2023 bullshit. The Final Fantasy V Four Job Fiesta and I are old friends - my first run was in 2015 and this is my fifth overall!
#FF5FJF is a combination charity event and challenge playthrough of FFV with job class limitations that range from :ThisIsFine: to :YuriScream: but generally involves playing only four or fewer job classes. I put my #FF5FJF on hold for a bit, whoops, but picked it up again and managed to unlock my second job: Beastmaster!
âŚooof so going to be pure Freelancer a bit longer lol.
On the other hand, Iâm seeing how busted Freelancer is. After playing so many Fiesta runs, itâs never been an option for me, so getting one in this has been neat! I can use ALL THE THINGS with that âjobâ!
Update on the FF5FJF challenge. Obtained the 4 tablets and beat Neo Ex Death.
Triton, Nereid, and Phobos was probably the biggest roadblock. The Forked Towers wasn't as basic as I was expecting. Just had to be clever with Omniscient.
