Er ikke fremmed for å kjøpe solidarisk kaffe, men har ennå ikke funnet noen som leverer monsuntørket Malabar (indisk) til en pris jeg kan leve med. Skjønt det kan jo endre seg nå som man betaler over 120 kr for 340 gram på Kiwi (i hodet mitt skal det ikke eksistere kaffe til over 100 spenn på en Kiwi butikk, den slags priser forventer jeg å finne hos spesialist butikker for kaffe og te). #firstworldproblem

Ha and another #firstworldproblem spending most of the last day building orders for parts for a project and then one of the most important parts of the project going out of stock! Showed hundreds in stock yesterday but now on back order in to August 😡

Post-dusk, ventured outside in the freezing gale to fetch in the red-lid bin from last night. Yes it has been emptied sometime today, so dunno what the deal was with the rest of the street [usually many houses have bins out each week, not just rarely like me]. However, "emptied" needs heavy qualification. For months & months [given i only need to put it out with the blue moons] i've been hoping the truck driver would actually make his robotic arm shake the bloody thing, coz no matter how often i afterwards lament & try rearranging it, for several cycles now the bin is never fully "empty". The stupid design that tapers the sides inwards as one looks from top to bottom means that the initial paper bags of rubbish seem to wedge themselves in, so that gravity alone is not enough. This is so totally embarrassingly shamefully merely a #FirstWorldProblem, yet even allowing for that... tis the principle of the thing! Might even say the Dennis Denuto thing, except absence of vibe is part of the problem.

Typing this whilst 'off-grid' north east of Brecon in South Wales. Staying in a pod with Junior Spanghero Junior and there's no electricity to the site, water is mostly harvested and to a central block. 4G available though*, as there's no escape from mobile 'phones except my kitchen and back garden!

We like to read Carolyn Hax's live chats, but we don't like to give the Washington Post money, so we read the chats via archive.today.
Except archive.today only allows archives to be refreshed every 5–6 hours or something, and most weeks some a*hole with no patience tells it to archive the chat before it's finished, so often we can't read the whole thing until long after it's finished.
I told you it was whiny, you were warned.

There’s only a minor leg of four and half hours left until I’ll reach Wroclaw, my main destination of this #easternRail. Finally, it’s #firstClass time again. Not that it really matters, no #freeStuff in sight, nor did I get a single seat. Wifi not working are we surprised yet.

What I do have right in my sight is a monitor. Like, in the middle of my sight. In addition to regular train info, there are commercials. I think. And they are all animated. Annoying #firstWorldProblem.
