There’s only a minor leg of four and half hours left until I’ll reach Wroclaw, my main destination of this #easternRail. Finally, it’s #firstClass time again. Not that it really matters, no #freeStuff in sight, nor did I get a single seat. Wifi not working are we surprised yet.

What I do have right in my sight is a monitor. Like, in the middle of my sight. In addition to regular train info, there are commercials. I think. And they are all animated. Annoying #firstWorldProblem.

OK, technically there is a #FirstClass in Vilnius-Mockava train, but you can't purchase a seat there in connection to buying a Vilnius-Warsaw / Krakow ticket. Bought separately the price is higher.

With a combination ticket, check the class of your car, since the difference is not too visible. There are no reservations in the 2nd class, so if someone is ushering you from your seat claiming they have a reservation, you are probably in the first class. I hear.

Oh, there's a #FirstClass lounge in Vilnius railway station! Entrance is included in first class tickets, but since there is no first class in my train, I should have bought it separately – at the same time I bought my ticket, so too late now. But it does look a good and affordable (4 €) way of spending the annoying 1,5 hrs between check-out and train departure.

A note on the Budapest Keleti #FirstClass lounge: it's available for two hours before and after trip, earlier/later a reasonable fee is charged.

In the Budapest Keleti railway station #firstclass lounge, the treats are table served and the list includes drinks, biscuits, sandwiches and snacks. Alcohol available for a cost. Mind you, the sandwiches are not the tiny cocktail snack type at all.
