End of an era. We nearly had a World Series rematch in 2014 but the A’s front office blew up the team. Seven All-Stars that year and Fisher’s like “this can’t happen” and boom. Heartbreak. I’ve spent the last two years trying to wean myself off the game of baseball, sort of a coping ahead so I won’t lose my shit when they leave Oakland. Apparently I still care.
