Down at the bottom of this high quality (say the climbers) Trinity County limestone cliff.

The right is taken up by a tall cliff of white and grey and tan with a lot of texture to it, mostly overhanging. The left is a view of treed ridge on to a brown peak. Along the bottom is scrubby stuff growing up at the bottom of the cliff.

Water morphing limestone in a crack.

A horizontal crack in white/light grey rock has drip like rock structures hanging from the top.

Distant limestone cliffs.

White rock bulges with trees along the top and more trees on the slopes below.

Gooseberry fall colors on the last day of summer.

Leaves with a rich red fringe and deep green center. The branch that holds them (and the large thorns just below each leaf) match the deep red edges.

Overlooking the Trinity River (South Fork).

A pool of blue is visible in a wide canyon below. Trees, mostly live but with a patchwork of dead stands (there was a bad burn in 2020) sit in the bottom and in the higher spots, but leave a blank bit down the middle.

Gaining a view of Yolla Bolly.

A line of near trees drop away with the slope showing another green ridge and a mountain blue with distance behind it.

There be marble!

An opening in the trees shows white rocks sticking out of the ridge line ahead. The ridge line continues onward. Again, the patchwork of live and dead trees from the 2020 August Complex (California's largest fire ever... so far) are visible.

Water found near the caves!
