My favorite art is abstract art. I use multiple textures to build up what I call a "treated canvas". Calk and glued on cloth make some good cracks and ridges. I then paint a base coat on it. Now it is ready for me to paint. I use acrylic paint. Sometimes I paint towards the texture letting it influence the subject matter. Sometimes I just ignore the texture and paint what I already had planned. #abstractart #joemccord #jmccordart
