I still love the combo of red shoes and blouse with this JSK.

Sadly I haven’t dressed up in a while due to health issues. But hopefully by April I’ll be back at it after some treatments.

This coord was put together using a majority of thrifted and up cycled stuff I have. The blouse was a thrift and then a dye project. The jewelry and head pieces are from family heirlooms, gifted or DIY items. Last is my shoes which were my mother’s in the 90s from her wedding that I dyed in the same shad as the blouse. I love sweet Lolita but prefer a more classic understated assortment of accessories.

Along to match the necklace’s are pearl heart earrings, a lilac headband decorated with pink bows

Dolly stands in mirror showing full outfit from head to toe. This outfit is a Lolita jump skirt in a lilac purple color with lots of white laced trim and printed with graphics of pink tea cups, saucers, white bunnies and large red strawberries. The bodice of the Jumpskirt has a row of deceptive strawberry buttons.
Dollys face is covered with her phone over it, but her wrists show lace cuffs with many matching beaded bracelets.

She wears under her jumpskirt a red shirtsleeve blouse with fitted sleeve cuffs and collar. On top of her head is a lilac headband with pink bows on it.

Her footwear consists of white lace, cuffed, anklet socks and a chunky, red, silk, high heel shoe.

JSK: By thinking bigger and greener for people on foot, who make up the overwhelming majority of people on the street. We could create a pedestrian boulevard that stretches from the Port Authority to Grand Central Terminal and connects to a linear park going up Park Avenue all the way to 57th Street. We could even have dedicated walkways and cycle lanes on the viaduct around Grand Central.

Interviewer: That’s even more ambitious than pedestrianizing Times Square.
JSK: These aren’t outrageous ideas — they’re common practice in other big cities. We could even pedestrianize lower Manhattan.
