Getting back to regular #kathak practice after a hiatus of 16 days, and it's like my body has forgotten how to move through space. Total deer in headlights kinda situation.
Got back to kathak class today after 2+ weeks of complete break. 5 minutes of tatkar and my calves were on fire, I was falling during spins, and walked into a tripod at the end of class. Good times. 💃 #dance #kathak

Frankly, before watching The Music Room, I was oblivious to the world of kathak dance. But Ray's and Kumari’s rendition of this northern Indian art form was mesmerizingly beautiful indeed - many opined it to be an iconic #kathak performance. I rewatched the #dance sequences three times! 🤭🙇♂️
