So.. there's a Key 13 EP launch party tonight at 20:00 UTC on the BonkWave party server. Chat will open about 15 minutes before.
The EP is only 17 minutes long.
Assuming anyone turns up, is anyone interested in hanging around a bit longer for a semi random Key 13 jukebox? Or is that just a step too far! (NB these would just be the released versions, without custom videos, I'm not playing live)

If you didn't spot it in that previous post I've tentatively scheduled 20:00 UTC on Monday (26th) for a Key 13 EP release party:
It will be roughly 17 minutes long, so don't blink or you'll miss it!
This EP is almost certainly *not* #BonkWave, just to manage expectations - if I had to choose a genre I'd say Space Rock/Psychedelia.
There's one track which could maybe have been a FediVision entry for those who remember that.

Key 13 video number 2 is pretty much done. And it's a bit... Well. Random! And it's still not the track you were expecting. Or wanting.
I may push it to #TIBtv today but will wait until the full EP is released to put it anywhere else. Shouldn't be long, I'm just figuring out if I want to do videos for the other two tracks while I'm in the zone.
Well.. it's not the most exciting, original or polished effort, but the first ever Key 13 video just got submitted to #TIBtv .. you can't see it anywhere else just yet (soon!).
It probably isn't the track you were expecting though.. but it has been remastered by someone who knows what they're doing (i.e. not me!).
So you'll either have to wait until it pops up on the channel (assuming they accept it!) or wait a few more days for an actual release...
I'm still struggling to mix on the OP-XY, but here's my longest track to date (longer is not necessarily better!) - a slightly more "conventional(?)" instrumental rock track with some vague fusion influences.
I've been working on this one for quite a while so it feels like the last release of 2025 rather than the first of 2026!
Finished another OP-XY track - not very adventurous, but (hopefully) easy to listen to. Playing with the on-board phaser FX this time. As with most of these, it's a bit long, really, I'm used to making 3-4 minute tracks!
I might call this "synthwave-adjacent chilled-out electro" but that would be why no-one ever asks me about music genres :)
I've finished another OP-XY track - not quite so happy with this one for a number of reasons, but here we are:
Finished another track on the OP-XY, slightly rushed the mix to meet a songaweek deadline :)
This one is an IDM-inspired Drum & Bass track which is not a genre I'm generally very proficient at - there's others here who do it much better (!) - but this is a definite improvement on past efforts, I think.
Struggling with the mixing side of the OP-XY, I suspect this will need some tweaks later on.
I believe it's traditional to include one's SoundCloud link when a post gets popular! But although I do have one, it's a bit random. And who knows, it probably relies on Cloudflare...
