Today's Random Monsta X Song is a Kihyun solo because I miss his voice. Today's song is Bad Liar off 2022's Youth album! This song was written and produced by Hyungwon who I also miss so it's like a 2 for 1 deal. I love anything Hyungwon produces and love Kihyun's voice so this is literally a perfect song. It's my second favorite Kihyun song! Here's a live band performance of Bad Liar and of course Kihyun nails it.
I'm not done with Monsta X for #KpopMonday #CoversOfNotKpop. I saw this stage live and did not survive. It's just sexy vibes. Hyungwon choreographed the stage (I think) and it's just perfect for the song. It's Myself originally by Bazzi performed by the 93 line, Hyungwon, Kihyun, and Minhyuk. It's still one of my favorite performances I've seen live. I watch this video on the regular to relive it.

My personal favorite of all his covers is his cover of Bad by Christopher. He also has incredible Imagine Dragons covers and I'll include those. Today's Random Monsta X Song is one of my favorite Hyungwon produced songs. Hyungwon is amazing at writing and producing English songs. Today's track is Where Is This Love by Kihyun off 2022's Youth mini album! This song got me through a tough friend break up. I can honestly say this song made me cry when I first heard it. It's beautifully written and Kihyun sounds perfect as always (the K in Kpop stands for Kihyun after all).

Today's Random Monsta X Song is a cover. I'm sure when I mention Kihyun's covers people immediately think of his Imagine Dragons covers. Those are excellent, but I have a different favorite. Today's song is Kihyun's cover of Bad originally by Christopher. I love this cover! I listen to it all the time! So many vocal moments and adlibs. It really shows of his range. Also he looks so good here. Definitely give it a listen!

I got to see it live a couple years ago at the No Limit tour and it gave me chills (I have video if anyone wants to see it). Kihyun just has one of the best voices in Kpop. I can't get enough of his vocals!
One of my favorite Kihyun songs is Where Is This Love. It's perfect for #KpopMonday #The5Ws! I love Kihyun's voice and Hyungwon's production and writing on this song. Hyungwon is really great at writing English songs. This song and Secrets are impeccable. Where Is This Love got me through the end of a 10+ year friendship. I'm so thankful to Kihyun and Hyungwon for making this song.
Now it's Kihyun's turn for #KpopMonday #OST! He has a lot to choose from. I picked Full Moon from Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938. I haven't watched the drama yet so no spoilers please. It's on my to watch list. I chose this song because it really showcases Kihyun's power and range. He's the best in the past industry in my opinion. Definitely give him a listen.

I absolutely have to include my Monsta X bias wrecker Kihyun for #KpopMonday #GetAGuitar! I'm including his Mic In the Scene performance of Youth because Kihyun is a legendary live vocalist. I nearly cried the last time I saw Monsta X in concert because of this man's voice.
