Almost exactly two years ago, at #37c3, I stumbled upon someone with a different definition of "CNC" than mine. We then spent the entire day talking to people in the #kinkygeeks area and found out that indeed people disagree pretty strongly on what the word actually means.
This has been brewing in my ever since, and after talking to lots of people I've decided to replace my usage of the term CNC with "pseudo non-consent (PNC)" and "meta-consent", depending on the intended meaning

Das Essen bei Apple & Eve dauert...ewig, aber es lohnt sich angeblich (noch unbestätigt). Mit 160% Auslastung durch Congress-Menschen konnte wohl auch keiner rechnen.
Haltet uns einen Platz auf der #kinkygeeks Party frei 🙏 Irgendwann heute kommen wir bestimmt noch an.

an even more personal note after #cccamp23 #cccamp - i loved all the conversations i've had, where tech was but one means of building a better world.
i've loved all conversations sparked by the DIY stickers i brought to camp. those silly pieces of adhesive paper led to very beautiful, human connections.
i've barely scratches the surface of the lovely villages set up on the camp grounds. i hold the #kinkygeeks village in a special spot in my heart.
Okay, whoever decided to put the #KinkyGeeks village right next to the #LaTeX village for what I can only assume is kinky top bants, you win my heart.
