My oldest guitar, an Ibanez SA400. I swapped a black Gibson Les Paul custom for it in 1980.

Everyone in the band said I was insane. They were right of course, but after it got a pair of Dimarzio Super Distortion 2s installed it turned into a monster.

No pedals, just straight into a Marshall 50w 2x12 cranked to the max, sustained forever.

Currently "retired" sporting a matched pair of Dimarzio PAFs.

BTW, the Gibson was a dog.

I have been using Jeff Schneider's 10 beginner jazz licks video to change up how I am playing Autumn Leaves

And I am left wondering when to move on to different licks, or just start a new tune. I am just over a hundred beats per minute on his 3 basic variations of the Freshman, which feels fast for this song but I know it's slow for most tunes.
