These rock formations belong to Ribeira da Janela, in Madeira.
They’ve been the setting of a few scenes of The Acolyte (Star Wars) but to me on that morning, the sunrise was a very nice consolation prize after a failed trip to the Fanal Forest where I wanted to shoot some fog.
