The realisation that many #canon nerds are looking to individual people in the real world as authorities has been enlightening. For them, its an executive branch of government, for me its the judicial one. Canon is explicit dialogue, the architecture of a building, etc. It's not implicit things like subtext or authorial intent.
For #startrek, what was Canon was whatever gets an in-universe article or section on #MemoryAlpha, which specifically excludes #wordofgod.

I do the same sort of thing. #MemoryAlpha is also a good source. Wikipedia often goes more into the real-world side, writing, direction, circumstances of production, reception. Memory Alpha tends to have more in-universe plot detail.

3️⃣ Judging from their comments about it, reported on #MemoryAlpha, the producers think highly of this very weak episode. Sometimes it's bewildering how wrong they get it.
4️⃣ The location filming is great. And #PatrickStewart has a couple of terrific scenes. That's about it. The rest of it is a chore to watch.
5️⃣ According to #IMDb users, this is the 46th worst episode.

I checked #MemoryAlpha about it too. The first two star trek pilots have regular clipboards (#theCage and #WhereNoManHasGoneBefore) both have them then there's the electronic clipboard used in most of the series.
