Reizen luminaire by Meteor Lighting

Dezeen Showroom: Californian brand Meteor Lighting has released Reizen, a compact, asymmetric light that casts powerful indirect light.

Available as a pendant or sconce, Reizen shines light upwards to illuminate high ceiling spaces while emphasising aspects of a building's spatial structure.

Reizen delivers powerful indirect lighting from a compact package

Meteor Lighting uses a prismatic design to create smooth, uniform light distribution, and the product comes in both indoors and outdoors versions.

The outdoor version has an output of up to 40,850 lumens and is also suitable for swimming pools.

There are pendant versions as well as wall sconces

The indoor version is more subtle, delivering 11,750 lumens to 13,900 lumens in 3000-5000K tunable white. There are also W+RGB colour-changing options.

Meteor Lighting recommends Reizen for commercial projects, natatoriums and sportplexes.

Whiz 2.0 luminaire by Meteor Lighting

Dezeen Showroom: Meteor Lighting has designed the Whiz 2.0 luminaire to illuminate spaces with high ceilings through either direct and indirect light.

The Whiz 2.0 ceiling light marries high performance with a compact form that Meteor Lighting describes as "architectural and sleek".

The Whiz 2.0 can be flipped to provide indirect lighting

Delivering a brightness of up to 36,000 lumens, the design boasts a number of innovative features.

Its shade can be flipped to provide either direct or indirect lighting, while the light's warmth can be tuned between 3,000 and 5,000 Kelvin.

The colour temperature can also be configured

Whiz 2.0 is also available with a special natatorium finish that makes the high-bay luminaire suited to wet environments like indoor swimming pools.

Winner of the Lightfair Innovation Award 2019, the Whiz 2.0 is compatible with ceiling heights above 10 metres.
