It is widely known that the #XeroxAlto pioneered many aspects of modern computing, or at least integrated them into the #userInterface we still use today.
But it also featured the first #modalEditor with #Bravo (although they eventually replaced it with the modeless #BravoX).

Do you know of any blog posts that writes about the small quality of life shortcuts, or cool small "secret" things in the Helix editor? Or do you have some cool snippets or configs you'd like to share? E.g. I didn't know about `x_`. The underscore trims any newlines from the selection, when `x` selects the whole line (including the newline). This makes pasting the selected text on the same line, without the need to backspace the newline. How did I never know about this until now? And how many other small things are there that would make my life easier? Please share your knowledge!

#Helix 25.07 just dropped with loads of nice new features
I've been using the #HelixEditor as my daily driver for the better part of a year now and I couldn't be more happy with it. I've managed to get a near-IDE setup and experience thanks to zellij and some awesome TUI tools.
This article aligns well with my experience, I recommend reading it if you're "modal editor curious" or dissatisfied with your (neo)vim config maintenance burden.
