It is:
Heavy.
Has bad battery life.
Bad keyboard.
DE9 accessory connector is hard to use.
Display is small, recessed and consumes large amounts of current due to ancient LED's.
It is controlled by a full fat DIP CPD1802, contributing to the bad battery life.

There is a 2m hamband firmware image for it on Moppe Akatemia.
