For those curious about Nashville tuning:

Nashville tuning uses special strings: the four lower strings (6–3) are tuned an octave higher than usual, while the top two stay the same.

Using regular steel strings for this can add too much tension and risk snapped strings — or worse, damage to the guitar.

All of my guitars have names and this is Suzanne (named after Suzanne Vega). She’s a steel-string acoustic, set up with Nashville tuning.

I used her on my recording of my song "January", which is now a subscriber-exclusive demo in the Garden of Creation on Bandcamp. The Nashville tuning adds a little extra sparkle to the song.
