All it took was six years of care-taking, lessons learned, and more than a little luck (or possibly divine favor), but this year I have peaches! Or maybe the peach trees are saying, "Hey, this year has been rough - here's something sweet to help you through for a bit." Either way, I'm grateful.

My 7 year old peach trees (6 years in the ground here) look like they might just provide fruit this year. In the meantime, I'm taking this as a sign that they are happy and healthy and maybe I've hit my stride in caring for them. They sure are pretty though. :peach_ms:

I'm so excited that I had to share! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too far because these young peach trees have been temperamental in the past and need a lot of work, but I've never seen them get started like this.

I may still go and pinch off a few of these just because I'm worried about the load on the branches and whether or not the trees can support this many fruits. So excited!
