1900s, sometimes compared to USA's Ellis
Island. Almost 1 million immigrants came
through this port in Halifax before it shut
down [including my beloved great
grandmother!] It later became a national
historic site).

Actrice Anna Raadsveld speelde dinsdag voor eigen publiek. Samen met Benno Veenstra stond ze in het dorpshuis, het Dorpshuis de Nije Bân in Pingjum op de planken met Krijst der safolle foar werom van Pier21. Dorpsgenoten kwamen massaal naar de voorstelling kijken; alle stoelen waren vergeven.

We didn't make it to Point Pleasant Park today because of the substantial rain and apparently my family is made of sugar. So granddaughter and her parents went to an indoor playground. I dropped my wife off at the casino, after emptying my wallet into her hands, and my youngest daughter and I walked over to the Canadian Museum of Immigration. On the way I protected the city from enemy aircraft. You're welcome...
