A chance meeting while sharing a part of my sandwich is a major reason for my #PlanB. I asked a black gentleman, "Where do you live?" expecting a Kenyan accent. An American accent pointed to the Nairobi Hilton. He was a retired postal worker from Mississippi. His pension allowed him to live in the Nairobi Hilton in Kenya. It gave me hope and started my planning.

I grew up in abject poverty--homeless living in the back of a Ford pickup and squatting in abandoned farm houses. I know what it is like not to have privilege.
