I built a #groovebox and broke off a chunk of my #homestudio to dwell therein.
It covers all the bases: #synthesizer (#eurorack #modularsynthesizers) ; #sequencer (via the #beatsteppro) ; and #sampler (#sampling and #looping via #loopypro).
The box, plus the #meris #polymoon and #Mercury7-for marvelous delays and reverbs-produced all sounds (save my voice) for my latest track, device registration ( https://jeromezero.bandcamp.com/track/device-registration ).

All is well as it is my fourth day suffused with #drone. Experimentations with a new looper (#Pigtronics Infinity 2) and the #polymoon "incorrectly" set created a nice, jumbled atmosphere.

Fun with #Purpll, #Raster and #Polymoon last night, among others. I received a OBNE Signal Blender and find it incredibly useful for parallel noises. I also have my eye on the Pladask Elektrisk #Matrise, another tool for signal routing.

More babblings from a signal fed through my pedalboard. From this #improvisation came some textural ideas I shall use in future compositions. The beat on my #argon8 is more meant as another texture rather than to sync with anything. Perhaps I'll experiment with syncing it with the Red Panda #Raster and Meris #Polymoon at some point for something similar and note the differences in results.

The "orchestral" parts were mainly the #POG2 and the #Polymoon (with the mix set in a way that it partially mutes the dry signal). The latter also has both pitch shifting and limited FM modulation. The #Baklengs provides bizarre, stuttery delay that prodeces percussive textures. I love that pedal. You need one.

I shall explore other #PladaskElektrisk equipment in the future.

I have a #RedPanda #Tensor, but it is off the board at the moment, fufulling synth modification duties.

Yet ANOTHER experimental #improvisation ... My conclusion is that I shall soon purchase another another granular synthesis oriented pedal. I'm just not sure which one yet! The particle v2 by Red Panda? Fabrikat by Pladask Elektrisk? Something else? Suggestions? There are many.

#DroneDay was titillating, but mostly what happened was I learned things about my equipment and setup that I never could have in normal situations. I'm a big fan of Calf Studio Gear. I use their plugins in Ardour often, but this was my first time using them stand alone for streaming. Highly useful. Immensely recommended.

I also got more intimate with a few of my pedals - especially the #Polymoon, #Mercury7 and #Tensor.
