@TomCochez reconstrueert het 'bijzondere' parcours van de afgelopen maanden.
Spijtig dat ze in de inleiding zeggen dat #clientearth een Britse organisatie is, terwijl verderop wel staat dat het de Belgische tak is die het zou aanvechten.
Momenteel is er nog geen procedure opgestart tegen het #projectone van #Ineos. Dat gaat ongetwijfeld wel gebeuren, maar het is nog niet zeker op basis waarvan. Maar ik ben wel benieuwd naar de argumentatie.

Dit is een zwaktebod van Amerikaanse artsen in een poging om de uitbreiding van #schaliegas ontginning tegen te houden.
Ze kunnen het duidelijk niet tegen houden in de USA en hopen nu dat VLA/BEL hen helpt. Alleen is de vlareg er alles aan gelegen om dit toch te laten doorgaan.
Al vaak is aangetoond dat de gezondheid van anderen niet belangrijk is. Dus is dit nutteloos.
Interessant is wel dat #projectone dus niets vervangt, maar wel meer #plastic gaat produceren.

Soms moeten we nog even terug naar ons vroeger stamcafé, bijv. om Thomas Goorden (@tgoorden) zijn betoog rond #Ineos te volgen.
De meeste media slagen er ook niet meer in om hier nog correct over te informeren, behalve @apache_be met @stevenvandenbussche natuurlijk.
I'm also going to take it easy on #projectone today since I've put so much time into this week. I've had a blast working on this project but I've got some work to do, #cyberpunk 2.0 is this morning, I've got some Blu-Ray ripping to do, the list goes on.
Since #projectone has 3 "staff members" (Program Manager, Scheduler, and File Watcher), I'm trying to figure out the best way to call each member when they are needed. Time to read up on Python Classes and Methods I guess...
Moved my Python scripts over to the Raspberry Pi, where I have a larger testbeds of TV episodes. My File Watcher and Scheduler works perfectly!!!
Now that both are working and I have a schedule, it's time to feed it into the Program Manager so it can handle video playback.

Learning DateTime in Python isn't as straight forward as one might think. At this point, I have my Scheduler able to read a channel definition file, find episodes in the Database, and create a schedule. I only have 2 episodes as a testbed so here's what I'm seeing so far:
I do plan on adding logo overlay to the channels and VLC can't do that.
Finally, I'm trying to cut down on the unnecessary repeatitive steps like DB queries and API calls. Again, offline first. I'm trying to get FFPROBE to pull the duration and put it into the DB for offline use.
If I go with a 2TB SATA SSD, that will cost me $70, which isn't bad. I don't know if I will need another SATA to USB cable since mine doesn't work with either spare spinning drive I have on any of my machines.
2TB is about what I need because Friends in 1080P ALONE is close to 600GB! Add a few HD movies, some other series, and you are out of space. A 1TB would "do" but again, you would be more selective of what you carry with you.
For some reason, my SATA to USB adaptor is not pulling enough power to spin up my spare 2TB drive, which means for the mean time, I'm going to have to use a spare 128GB USB stick for media. Time to see how much 2TB in flash will cost me....

I am successfully able to look at local media, parse out information, grab metadata from TVDB, and put it into a local SQLite3 DB!
Now to try this with a Season folder.
Purchased a Raspberry Pi 4b kit from Amazon for roughly $110 and should be here tomorrow. Looking forward to getting development onto that machine instead of testing on my Macbook Air lol.
