I’ll tell you what I don’t like about #Propellerhead #Reason: I didn’t come from a hardware synth world, so wiring up synths and tweaking a bazillion cryptically labeled knobs is not how I want to be forced to use my computer to make music in 2025.

That said, there’s something nostalgic and visceral about the composure of Reason. I just wish I could get pieces of it in a more straightforward container without committing to the whole “rack” idea.
