Apparently #RoyalPythons do not bask under UV lamps. Tell it to this guy. Nokto basks daily in his favourite spot. As a rescue, he had to combat his fears to sleep in the open like that. Just look at his face nowadays. That's a one happy noodle.

Please do not keep your pets in racks. It wouldn't be okay to keep a dog like that, neither a cat, and it is not okay to keep a snake in such conditions either.

This is Rex'es bite.He wanted out and I let him freeroam.When he made himself comfortable in a spot, I reached in there, presented my hand, and when I moved it to reach for him, I received a firm bite.It did not hurt, and he immediately retreated.There were a few drops of blood. Snake teeth are fishbone sharp, so it stopped bleeding immediately.With no retaliation from my side he understood his mistake and was sorry. Feel free to shame him in the comments.😋

Our #BallPython Rex negotiating additional out time. 😊When he's had enough of time outside his enclosure, he typically goes to one of his hides to rest. On the picture he's giving me sideeye instead, remaining by the front glass. After this foto he came closer to me and was looking directly at me. I took him out for a little longer. I couldn't deny this lovely face. 😍
