I'm glad I can get Parker's #Quink Blue Black so cheaply here in GER. So I finally found my personal #allday blue. Except for writing outside, I prefer to use the pretty cheap #royalblue from #SchneiderPen or #Rheita (in a canister). :wink:
There are better pods about fountain pens, but they occasionally feature in mine. (How do you think I #scribble #shownotes?)

@original_peterm I did eventually try the black Parker Quink, with results consistent with your description. After finishing the bottle I replaced it with some TWSBI ink.

While I never used the Black, my first Quink was obtained around that time for my first fountain pen - a Parker 25 - back when it contained SOLV-X.
After decades of using only Parker Quink Washable Blue in all my pens, I now own several other inks, as shown, but still use only Parker Quink Washable Blue in my TWSBI VAC700.
The VAC travel ink bottle is very clever. The barrel of the pen screws into the black top of the bottle so the pen and bottle assembly can be held upside-down while pumping the ink with almost no risk of spillage.

@simonoid @fountainpens @jeffweiss The #pilot #explorer came with some #iroshizuku #FountainPenInks. I bought a bottle of #RobertOster royal red, which I will need for my teacher's "correcting" pen π , and I have a bottle of the #Parker Blue #Quink. They are all quite fast drying inks, compared to the messy splotchy inks I remember using as a child. I do like the #pilot #prera -- its a convenient size, and the "medium" nib is quite fine compared to the #Lamy medium nib. Maybe I'll get anotherβ¦
