<p>Since ancient times people have written, drawn and painted using pigments and dyes in water, often without any binder to adhere them to the ground. These are generically termed <em>inks,</em> and distinct from other media such as watercolours or the temperas. Most common among them is India ink, whose essential ingredients are carbon particles from soot, suspended in water. When applied to a suitably absorbent ground that has stood the test of centuries.</p>

<p>Hieronymus Bosch’s study of <em>The Owl’s Nest</em> from around 1505-1516 is a good example of a pen and ink drawing starting to transcend into painting.</p>

Nachbau des U-Bootes aus dem Tim und Struppi Album "Der Schatz Rackhams des Roten". Eine schwarze, torpedoförmige Struktur, die einem Hai ähnelt, steht in einem hell beleuchteten Raum. Die Struktur befindet sich in der Mitte des Raumes und wird von vier Holzständern gestützt. Die Struktur hat eine klare Kuppel an der Oberseite, und auf beiden Seiten befinden sich Flügel. In der Nähe befinden sich weiße Bilderrahmen an der Wand. Der Boden ist hellgrau.

End of June, I started painting a mini.
Haven't done that in ages…
A streamer (Froggy) did some monthly challenges to push people back into painting, this month theme was "purple", I had to jump on it. 💜

Here's where I am currently with Nilarakh, a Mid-Nor dwarf (from Rackham, a french brand that don't exist anymore).

Hopefully I'll finish it. I'll share the progress here too. : )
