I certainly prefer rehearsing a play and digging into a rich text with a scalpel in a room with actors, but we had enormously successful virtual rehearsals this past week and weekend for The Lehman Trilogy.
I'm listening to Dream Theater's Lost Not Forgotten Archives album Making Scenes From A Memory (aka Metropolis pt 2) and it's so interesting!
Metropolis pt 2 is one of my favorite albums and listening to the demos, rehearsals, and how the band works on the tricky parts like the drums alone with a timer, then the drums and a guitar, then LaBrie trying out alternate vocal takes... So! Interesting!
