It just occurred to me that the original Avatar movie was essentially a really elaborate, standalone remake of Return of the Jedi. Although so far, the Avatar sequels are making the Star Wars prequels look much better by comparison, storywise.

So I want to talk Remakes. What should one contain?

I personally feel if a remake doesn't have anything new then it is just a waste, not just the visuals. If thats the case just give me a remastered and even then Id hope for something.

The only time I feel I can let this go for ether is if I'm getting multiple games in one for a great price like the spyro trilogy or games with a large amount of content.
