I haven't buckled down for a picture like this in a while. Obviously I did my own subtle twists to this guy, but the design is largely the same as the original, including all the fiddly bits. I'm pretty happy with this!

Asuka is relaxing tonight as she sits on the side of a building, looking out at the night sky while a flying advertisement blimp-like device is looking at her.

After completing the art of Syra, I had an idea to do one with Asuka; a barely used OC of mine. I wanted to have her in a futuristic city and I think I did a pretty good job. Probably the most creative part was the ad here. I wanted to go for a simple style closer to the rubber hose era, then make a LED grid while pixelating the actual effect. I also had to balance both it and the shading of Asuka between her suit and metalic parts. It's one I'm so happy with how it came out!
