The realisation that back when this first game came out, nobody knew how big of a success it would become. That's hard to imagine with a game like Zelda or Castlevania!

Beat #SilentHill2 remake! Still super good through the end, few complaints. Cutscene acting is slightly wooden but tbh no worse than the original. Game is much bigger, which is why I'm not 100% sure if I'm going back for all the endings (8 now), I have a lot of other stuff to play.
Can't recommend it enough tho, along with the original.

Haven't played the original Silent Hill since it released (showing my age). It's still the only video game to genuinely get to me. The 'normal' world is more haunting than the 'other' IMO. The menacing atmosphere combined with the incredible audio... Guess I'm not sleeping tonight.
The #silenthill2 achievement for killing 75 enemies with ranged weapons is titled:
"No Big Deal"

This is good news for people who liked Bloober Team’s remake of SH2, but I would’ve rather Konami port the original to modern systems in an official capacity.
