Well the promised snow never arrived, so it’s just your average grey, cold winters morning here in deepest, darkest Yorkshire.

Sophie mog has taken up station on the end of the back of the sofa & Alice mog has vanished upstairs onto the bed.

My new desk chair is being delivered today - it has arms that fold up so it slides under the deck but it looks a lot chunkier than my IKEA skinny backed one so I’m hoping there won’t have to be any additional room adjustments.

Firstly my heart goes out to all those affected by the mass shooting in British Columbia & the stabbing in Brent, London. It is awful when violence visits the places one should feel the safest in!

I have seriously got the hump today, someone has swapped my nice warm, sunny Wednesday with a cold, wet, manky one!

I have got less than no plans for today, one could say I have minus plans … let chaos rain* & let loose the squirrels of war!

Hving spent a decent chunk of yesterday convinced it was Friday it’s quite the anti-climax to have it delivered to my door!

We are apparently going to my late MiL’s this afternoon for another tidying up session, Mrs S has wangled a ½ day off. This is instead of not as well as going over during the weekend.
