lol I felt pretty good about the features I'm using and the features I'm aware of but not using yet, but I think #StateOfCSS just told me that everybody in the world knows more than me. I'm honestly skeptical of that; it's my experience that CSS usage in the wild lags *considerably* behind the spec

State of CSS 2025
Features Score: 325 points
Of the 63 features mentioned in the survey, you have used 19 and heard of 27 more, which puts you in the top 100% of all respondents. Well done!

2024.stateofcss.com/en-US/

None

2024.stateofcss.com/en-US/usag

Um... wut?

The real state of CSS, I guess.

"Hi, I built a react application, a big one! It works fine on my laptop, but it does not seem to work on any other screen sizes. I know that I have to adopt a new web design for smart phones, but I am not interested in writing a responsive code. I would like to know if there's a way to make my code work for all the computer screens. Do i have to specify every screen size and rewrite my code accordingly?(I am new to media queries). I am super stressed out, I have worked on this project for months and I don't want it to go waste, I want to have this site on my resume"

I just did the State of CSS survey. It asks about 60 new features. My feeling is that most of these are very niche and will hardly get any use in the real world. Aren't we now just needlessly bloating browsers?

Yikes. I felt like I didn’t know any of the stuff in #stateofcss survey. Still in the top 76%.

Scary. I have some reading up to do
