This was the first major fail of the project was a strawberry pie. Part of me suspects strawberries changed over the last century, that older varieties were smaller, denser, and contained less moisture. Anyway, it was still tasty, even if messy.

Well the sustainable fish supper was really good, and the pie beeped at me just at the end.
We have a successful (looking) rhubarb and strawberry #pie. The proof will be in the eating. Holding off on that until I get the bread in the oven! Ugh.
It's risen nicely since lunch and I just formed it up into loaves.
Quite a continuous marathon since about 4:30pm when delusions of edible grandeur took over.
