Bruno the beetle, muscles rippling beneath his armor, trudged across the damp log. A flash of green caught his eye - Ferdinand, a portly frog, perched regally beside a juicy fly. Bruno rumbled a greeting.
Ferdinand, impressed with Bruno's size offered a seed in exchange for passage.
Bruno, ever the opportunist, snatched the seed and with a wink, declared, "To new adventures, my friend!"

@tdc #tdc4524 My response for today's #ds106 #DailyCreate is two friends--a loquacious young frog and a taciturn older critter--decide to go on an adventure together:

Young friend: Stop, old friend! Come join me for an adventure!! . . . And we're off! . . . Wait, old friend . . . turn around! You're going the wrong way!

Old friend: Young friend, adventure awaits us in every direction.

The photo shows 4 scenes of two small animals. In the first one, a frog has its front foot wrapped around another creature's horn (or nose). Then, the frog's mouth is wide open, and the frog is sitting on the other creature's back. Next, the creature is about to step away with the frog still on its back. Finally, the creature actually steps away with the frog still on its back.

(caption story)

The unusual partnership began with an agreement. They would protect each other at any cost. "Come aboard, then, and let us begin," she offered, and then they were off - the two of them, as one, heading towards the horizon of the unknown.
