@johnjohnston @creating
Recycling Daily Shoot . Find an interesting shadow today and make a photo of it. And I’m recycling a shadow photo, with pumpkins for the season, and squared for these newfangled federated thingamabobs.

Small front yard of dirt with leaves in front of a green stucco wall with autumn pumpkins in a window ledge and a “Support School Care” yard sign near a shaded sidewalk.

@creating I made a photograph of a plant from the Daily shoot Wayback machine. One thing the has taught me is to observe and capture everyday things.

A green young lemon is silhouetted against a brilliant blue sky as the morning sun hits the leaves of the lemon tree, turning some to yellow. A grey tin shed is in the background.

“In the beginning… was
Sep 1, 2009 "Shoot something red today.”
Since I just learned of The Daily Shoot and am getting ready to remix and Rewild the Network next week in the Reclaim Open conference, here’s a red VW bus.
And a quote: "What?"
Asked by George Tirebiter on The Firesign Theatre’s “Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers” (1970)

Red vintage VW bus (Volkswagen Type 2 van) parked on gravel, surrounded by green grass and trees in a peaceful outdoor setting.

@creating #tdc5039 #ds106 #WildDS106 I found a #dailyshoot listed on the past assignments

"2011/08/07 • #ds630 Make a photograph that illustrates a memory from your childhood."

I still have these Dalmatian dog figurines that always were on an endtable in my family home. I never knew why my folks got them (a gift? the movie? desire for dogs?) Perhaps a precognition to my first adopted dog Dominoe?

Three small ceramic statues of black spotted dogs, what looks like a sitting dad, an attentive mom, and a wee pup. They are standing on a wood surface and are a bit yellowed with age.

@creating #tdc5039 #ds106 recycling #ds579 Make a photograph that features a shadow as your subject today.

Had a walk yesterday with my daughter. The skys cleared for a couple of hours.

Shadows of two people cast on a field of tall grass under a blue sky with clouds.

On March 1st, 2010 the first #ds106 hashtag was born? Maybe? I think we contributed to this after 2010...I wonder what Intrepidteacher is doing these days? And we get to see @jimgroom soon. How nice.
