It turns out that the bottom edge of my Luminos Tee hits at an awkward spot, and curves in a bit due to tightness in the edge. So, I’m picking up stitches and working a ribbed border to make it longer and address the curving issue 🙄

My Luminos Tee is now all done! I still have to block it, hence the crumbly lower edge, but otherwise it’s all finished 😃

Update on my Luminos Tee: on the left you see the armhole finishing as described in the pattern, on the right I changed it to a 4-stitch I-cord bind-off. I’m liking this much better! Now to redo that last armhole… 😆

My Luminos Tee project is the next one on the list to finally finish. I’ve woven in the ends, and started the armhole finishing. But I’m just not liking it… Perhaps replace this simple knit BO with an i-cord BO? 🤔

Update on my Luminos Tee! I'm currently working on the ribbing at the neck. Next up, is finishing the armholes, and weaving in all ends 😬

With my Luminos Tee, I’ve connected both triangles and added in the contrast color. The project is looking pretty weird right now 😄

Luminos Tee update! The triangles are getting big, so I’ll be continuing working them separately from now on😃

This is the start of my Luminos Tee by Yamagara. I'm knitting both triangles the tee is started with at the same time. This way I can make sure, the tension is identical in both😃

Recently, I encountered some posts about the Luminos Tee by Yamagara. It has such an interesting construction, that I just have to make one. These are the yarns that I will be using 😃

I got my husband to snap a few pictures of me wearing my Striped Summer tee to share with you. Anyway, I expect that with its slightly ruffled yoke and relaxed fit, this garment will become a favorite for those warm summer days! Now onto finishing the pattern with things like the schematic and yarn estimates for all sizes 😃

All the ends of my Striped Summer tee are woven in, onwards to giving it a wash! 😃

Update on my Striped Summer tee: One sleeve is finished, for the other one: To be continued!

Yeah, for this tee, I had intended to have those sleeves finished by now. Alas, I've been working more on other projects and have just not yet gotten round tot it. I did work some rounds this morning, and plan to do some more this evening. To be continued!

In this tee, I raised the back neck by working some rows over the back stitches only. Because of how the stripes worked out, I have 6 rows in dark yarn directly at the underarm. It couldn’t be helped!

I’ve started on the sleeves: I wound the remaining teal yarn into 2 balls, and weighed the remainder after knitting the first 3-round stripe. I should be able to work about 5-6 dark stripes total, which would yield 12.5 cm (5”) sleeves. Perfect! 😃

The bottom ribbing on my striped summer tee is one! The ribbing used up quite a bit of the last of the dark teal yarn, so the sleeves will indeed be short.

If you’re dreaming of wearing your own me-made garment this Summer, now’s the time to cast on. Take for example this Shoreham-by-Sea tee. Just saying 😉

I'm still working on the body: the first set of A-line increases is done. I don't like my tees and sweaters to feel tight around the hips, and inserting a few increases makes all the difference. That really is the great thing about making your own garments; the possibilities to make it fit just right! 😃
