It was so relevant to my interests! I will have to watch more of her stuff.

Last evening, I got to be part of the artists preview of all the decorated cows in the Old Sturbridge Village's Cow Parade event!

25 full sized cows & 3 babies each decorated by a different artist. They were all fabulous!

My knitted cow sweater was a huge hit! They put it in the visitors center!

The cows will be on display from June 21st through September 28th.

I finished #knitting a big, strangely-constructed black wool sweater last week, just in time for summer, of course.

It fit weirdly and looked unpleasant so after I soaked it, blocked it, and left it to dry, I kind of forgot about it. Despite having worked on it for a few months now.

Spotted it in the basement this morning, was like "oh yeah, that thing's probably dry," tried it on, and it's amazing?!

Blocking is magic, is the point. Also I still can't believe I can make garments for myself.

Progress. Originally, three balls of mixed dyed yarn were needed, but as there was only one ball, we decided to use it without matching the pattern. The problem is what to do with the yarn after it runs out.
