AGI - Sono circa 8.900 i turisti italiani ancora in Medio Oriente: 92 in Bahrein, 948 in Qatar, 6.536 negli Emirati Arabi Uniti e 1.386 in Oman.  Lo ha reso la Farnesina nel fornire un quadro preciso della presenza dei connazionali nella regione.
Sono in partenza oggi ulteriori voli per i connazionali rimasti bloccati per via del conflitto, rende noto la Farnesina, e da Muscat, in Oman, partiranno due voli diretti a Fiumicino, con a bordo un totale di circa 350 italiani.
La Task Force Golfo della Farnesina
All'indomani dello scoppio del conflitto tra Usa e Iran, il ministero degli Esteri ha istituito la Task Force Golfo, che ha raddoppiato la capacità di risposta dell'Unità di Crisi, cui gli italiani che stanno cercando di rientrare possono rivolgersi per chiedere aiuto e che ha già ricevuto 15.000 chiamate, una media di 200 l'ora.
Voli di rimpatrio da Maldive e Thailandia
È prevista inoltre la partenza da Malé, capitale delle Maldive, di due aerei diretti rispettivamente a Fiumicino e Malpensa facilitati dalla Farnesina con a bordo circa 60 passeggeri, principalmente persone fragili. Questi si sommano ai voli commerciali organizzati autonomamente dalle compagnie aeree, al fine di favorire il rimpatrio degli oltre 6.000 turisti italiani in Thailandia e alle Maldive.

Further flights are departing today for Italian citizens who are still stranded due to the conflict, the Farnesina reports, and two direct flights from Muscat, Oman, will depart to Fiumicino Airport, carrying a total of approximately 350 Italians.

The Farnesina Gulf Task Force
Following the outbreak of the conflict between the US and Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs established the Gulf Task Force, which has doubled the response capacity of the Crisis Unit, to which Italian citizens trying to return for assistance can turn, and which has already received 15,000 calls, an average of 200 per hour.

Repatriation Flights from Maldives and Thailand
Two direct flights, facilitated by the Farnesina, carrying approximately 60 passengers, mainly vulnerable individuals, are also scheduled to depart from Malé, the capital of the Maldives, to Fiumicino and Malpensa Airports. This joins the commercial flights organized independently by airlines to facilitate the repatriation of over 6,000 Italian tourists in Thailand and the Maldives.

AGI - Sono circa 94.800 gli italiani in Medio Oriente e nel Golfo Persico, di cui 9.400 turisti in Bahrein, Qatar, Emirati Arabi Uniti e Oman. Lo ha reso la Farnesina nel fornire un quadro preciso della presenza dei connazionali nella regione.
All'indomani dello scoppio del conflitto tra Usa e Iran, il ministero degli Esteri ha istituito la Task Force Golfo, che ha raddoppiato la capacità di risposta dell'Unità di Crisi, cui gli italiani che stanno cercando di rientrare possono rivolgersi per chiedere aiuto e che ha già ricevuto 13.500 chiamate, una media di 200 l'ora.
Per quanto riguarda il solo Golfo, 7.024 italiani si trovano negli Emirati Arabi Uniti, 1.256 in Oman, 1.009 in Qatar e 111 in Bahrein. A oggi, sono circa 2.500 i connazionali rientrati in Italia da Abu Dhabi, Riad e Muscat con l'assistenza della Farnesina. Questa mattina sono decollati da Muscat due voli diretti a Roma, con a bordo 249 persone.
