I looked up "asexual haircuts" (context: I read about lesbian haircuts last night), and I didn't get disappointed. The following blog post is full of beautiful asexiness. It smashes the common prejudice/stereotype that aces apparently don't care about fashion or being attractive and desirable.

This excerpt is absolutely badass:

> Pyschara says:
>
> I've been dressing alternatively since I was eleven years old, so ten years before I came out, simply because I like the style. And I do like to dress what others can perceive as 'sexy' sometimes. Show off dat ass and I even did a latex photo shoot recently! I did go for a different approach than most latex models; my concept was 'too intimidating' to sexualize, which would probably not any different if I were not asexual.
>
> However, that doesn't stop me from modelling swimwear or even artistic nudity (low key though). When people ask me about my asexuality, I like to explain it as 'I literally don't give a fuck.' I just go with the flow and block dem creeps online and in real life; life's too short to have others stopping you what you love doing!

OK, so after reading the first few parts of the post, you might thing that the new stereotype is that aces love black! (Lol, I definitely fall into this category 🖤). But behold! Aces may love every colour (not only purple 💜, but also pink 🩷, and the rainbow in its entirety 🌈)! Aces may be cute, handsome, fashionable, etc., but most importantly, we are proud to be ourself!

Asexuals, allies and others, feast your eyes on this article. I haven't talked about it much, but now I feel the need. Here are my thoughts on . (Hint: they're good ones.)

Please share.

On a background of the asexual flag (a black stripe, a grey stripe, a white stripe and a purple stripe) is written Not Broken In The Slightest: Asexuality, And Why I Wrote About It. Next to it is the cover of The Summer We've Had, by Katherine Blakeman.

I can't wait to read this manga! I'm asexual, and asexual representation is very rare. Seeing it in manga form is very meaningful to me since I'm Japanese American.

Bianca Devins was a talented artist, loving sister and daughter from Utica, New York. She was taken too soon.
“Bianca’s smile brightened our lives." her family said. #ripbianca #ThisIsWhatAsexualLooksLike

If you want to know about her death, search for the Guardian article, it's not sensationalist. Be careful with her hashtag on social media, gory images of the crime are still shared.

I'm not good catching resemblance in quick sketches, but wanted to share a positive portrait of her.

Hensly Joy is from Mindanao, Philippines. Even as a kid, she always knew she was different, never fantasizing over her crushes and finding the idea of sex odd and awkward. She's a pround lithromantic in a conservative country where LGBTQ+ is not fully supported. #ThisIsWhatAsexualLooksLike #ace #mastoart #lgbtqia #drawing

Victoria is from Pennsylvania. Finding out about being #asexual was life changing for her, but is still complicated after surviving sexual trauma. She is thankful for finding a place she feels comfortable in. #ThisIsWhatAsexualLooksLike #mastoart

Johannes is a computer science student from Eastern Germany. Influenced by their own experiences with marginalisation as an asexual they felt motivated to join the free software movement to engage in social issues. #ThisIsWhatAsexualLooksLike #mastoart
